That is where Alvin took me for the weekend. And what a weekend it was; I think I’m still settling back into routine after all the excitement*grin*.
Aunt Nada had us over for a lovely breakfast & a good but quick visit.
Then it was off to the hotel, pre-game dinner & drinks – and then we caught the debut of Rudy Gay- the Raptors newest addition (and wow, is he something to watch live- what an amazing player).
Saturday we spent exploring the fine city & then visiting with Kieran and his family. A friend so good it feels like we’re visiting family. (Unfortunately we didn’t get a shot of Kieran’s older daughter Olive who is quite the entertainer- next time I guess)*smile*.
Sunday morning I dragged Alvin to the Royal Ontario Museum before we hit the Raptors vs. Heat game. I’ve deduced that, despite my colleagues thinking that I have one romantic husband, Alvin really just planned this elaborate weekend so he could see the Clippers & the Heat. I never would have agreed to pay to watch LeBron James et al…but it was unbelievable to see such athletes in action.
I am so thrilled with Alvin’s well-kept secret & admire the spontaneity he adds to our relationship (he even took me for sushi for my first time ever)! Natotela sana Alvin.
